Who We Are
Rooted in the North, Driven by Purpose
Klocwise Education Society is a community-based nonprofit organization committed to empowering women, girls, youths, and individuals experiencing homelessness through free education, digital access, and skills development. Based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, our programs are designed to remove barriers and foster independence by equipping underserved populations with soft skills, business tools, and academic support.

Services That Transform
Digital Access & Device Distribution
Through strong partnerships—including with the Yellowknife Women’s Centre—we have successfully distributed over 250 laptops and cellphones to women, girls, and individuals in need. These devices support learning, job searches, communication, and self-empowerment.
Free Tutoring & Academic Support
High School Upgrading: Targeted academic support to help students complete high school requirements.
CAEC Preparatory Classes: Focused classes to help individuals prepare for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) exam.
English as a Second Language (ESL): Support for newcomers and non-native speakers to improve communication and confidence.
Job Readiness Programs: Resume writing, interview preparation, computer literacy, and workplace communication skills.
Women-Owned Business Support
We provide free technical and branding services to help women entrepreneurs grow their businesses:
E-commerce website design and development

Bookkeeping and tax filing assistance
